Common Name Leafy White Orchid - Bog Candles - Tall White Bog Orchid - White Rein Orchid - Tall White Northern Orchid

Flower Size about 1/2" [to 1.25 cm]

Found in most all of Canada and the western USA as a large sized, cold growing terrestrial of bogs, swamp and damp meadows with an elongated stem carrying 2 long leaves and it blooms on an erect, terminal, 1 to 2' [30 to 60 cm] long, many [70] flowered, racemose inflorescence with delicately fragrant flowers that occurs in the summer.
