Common Name The Rich Blooming Habenaria

Found in Lesotho, Swaziland, Cape Provine, Natal, Orange Free State and Transvaal states of South Africa in well drained grasslands at elevations of 150 to 2450 meters as a medium to large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with numerous, suberect, cauline, lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, lax to dense, to 24" [60 cm] long, numerous [20 to 70] flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute glandular pubescent, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
