Common Name Heringer's Habenaria [Brazilian Orchid Collector 1900's]

Found in Goias, DF, Minas Gerais, Tocantins and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in grasslands as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, leafy stem carrying 5, lanceolate, erect, acuminate, clasping the stem leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, 4 flowered inflorescence with longer than the ovary floral bracts.
