Common Name The Smooth Habenaria

Found in Cape Province Natal, Orange Free state and Transvaal South Africa in well drained montane grasslands at elevations of 700 to 2200 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with numerous, elliptic, acute, basally stem clasping, cauline leaves that blooms in the summer on a fairly dense, 12 to 30 flowered inflorescence
