Found in Minas Gerais, Espiritu Santo, Rio de Janiero and Bahia states of Brazil as a medium to giant sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by lanceoalte, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 to 35 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence.
