Common Name The Long Leaved Habenaria

Flower Size .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm]

Found in the western Himalayas, Bangladesh, India and ?Nepal at elevations of 400 to 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with a slender, erect, leafy stem carrying scattered, erect, conduplicate, linear, acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the later summer on an erect, terminal, 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with linear, acuminate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers.
