Common Name Peteloti's Habenaria - In China Lie Ban Yu Feng Hua

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in south China, Thailand and Vietnam in forests along valleys at elevations of 300 to 1600 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with oblong, fleshy tubers giving rise to an erect, terete to stout, stem carrying 5 to 6, elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate apically contracted below into the amplexicaul sheathing base leaves and with many bract-like leaves above that blooms in the summer and early fall on an erect, few flowered inflorescence.
