Found in the western Himalayas and Nepal at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with crowded near the middle, broadly lanceolate, acuminate, undulate margined, pubescent leaves thaqt blooms in the later summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, laxly 15 to 20 flowered inflorescence .
