Common Name Robbrecht's Habenaria

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cmm]

Found in southern Zaire in open woodlands as a miniature sized terrestrial with an ovoid tuber giving rise to an erect, delicate, long white hairy stem carrying a single, ovate-orbicular, basally cordate, acute, fairly densely long white hairy above, margins densely ciliate leaf with 1 to 2 cauline bracts above that blooms in the winter on an erect, terminal, single flowered inflorescence carrying a relatively large white flower.
