Common Name The Roraima Habenaria [A mountain in Venezuela and Guyana]

Found in Venezuela and Guyana in boggy to drier soils at elevations around 2300 to 2600 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a pilose corm giving rise to an erect glabrous stem carrying small cauline, glabrous leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, terminal, laxly several flowered inflorescence.
