Common Name The North Vietnam Habenaria - In China Cong ye yu feng hua

Found in southern Guangxi and southern Yunnan provinces of China, Laos and northern Vietnam in broad-leaves forests at elevations of 600 to 1200 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with oblong tubers giving rise to an erect, terete, stout, glabrous stem carrying 10 to 13, clustered towards the base, linear to linear-lanceolate, contracted basally, acuminate to acute apically, grading above into 5 to 13, bract-like leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, [11 to 21 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, long acuminate floral bracts carrying white, fragrant flowers
