Found in Guyana, Venezuela and northern Brazil at elevations of 1800 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with reticulate, elliptical, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the channeled, elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 16" [40 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence with well spaced, acuminate-triangular bracts
