Found in southwestern Guangxi and Hainan provinces of China, Sri Lanka, Myanamar and Thailand in dense tropical rainforests and seasonal evergreen forests at elevations of 300 to 800 meters as a medium sized, hot growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 4 to 5, scattered all along the stem, oblong to narrowly elliptic, slightly to strongly unequal and acute apically, basally obtuse rounded into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a termial, erect, elongate, slender, 6 to 8.8" [15 to 22 cm] long, pubescent, subdensely many flowered with sterile, pink, lanceolate, abaxially weakly pubescent bracts and with pink, lanceolate, slightly shorter than the ovary, abaxially weakly pubescent, acuminate apically floral bracts
