Found in Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon, Congo and Zaire as a small sized terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 3 or so, ovate, acute to acuminate, petiolate basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, several to many flowered inflorescence
