Common Name The Andes Loving Horvatia
Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]
Found in Canar province of Ecuador at elevations around 2600 to 2700 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with an elongate rhizome with 4" [10 cm] between each ellipsoid pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect petiole then horizontal blade, narrowly lanceolate, plicate, acute leaf that blooms in the summer from the rhizome on an erect, 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
