Found in the Comoros archipelago in humid montane forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyhte with a rigid, branched, cylindrical stem carrying 3 to 7, in the upper half, coriaceous, rigid, flat, elliptic, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer on a lateral, peduncle .5 to 1.4" [1.2 to 3.5 cm] long, with 4 persistent bracts, single flowered inflorescence.
