Common Name Bertold's Kefersteinia [German Orchid Collector in Peru]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Colombia and Peru in wet montane forests at elevations of 900 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing, caespitose epiphyte without pseudobulbs, but with a fan of linear-elliptic, narrow, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an axillary, erect to arcuate, 3" [7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 2 loose, acuminate bracts, one at the middle and the other at the apex.

The first photo is absolutely correct, the second less so.
