Common Name del Castillo's Kefersteinia [Peruvian Orchid Collector of species current]

Found in Junin department of Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 1050 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a fan shape of lanceolate, acute, thin textured, carinate mid vein, pale green leaves that blooms in the summer on many basal axillary, peduncle terete, subtended by 2 remote, ovate, acute, loose bracts, single flowered inflorescence with similar floral bracts and carrying light green flowers with purple to brownish red spots heavier on the dorsal sepals and petals, the lip white tinged with green, sparsely tinged with brownish spots near the middle along the margins, the column very pale green and the anther pale cream to nearly white in color.
