Found in eastern Ecuador at elevations of 1700 to 2000 meters in extremely wet montane forests as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with narrowly elliptic, acute, narrowing below into the slender, conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a basal, arising through the axils, erect, 1.6" [4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with one triangular bract.
