Common Name The Hyacinth-Like Kollensteinia

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found from Venezuela, Brazil in wet forests at altitudes around 100 to 200 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing, terrestrial with cylindric pseudobulbs completely enveloped by imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, plicate, elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that is completely enveloped by grey and brown nervose, scarious sheaths and blooms on an erect, basal, terete, glabrous, pale green , to 4" [10 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence
