Common Name Brade's Laelia [Polish curator of Rio de Janiero botanical garden 1900's]

Found in Minas Gerais Brazil as a miniature sized, cool growing, "rupicolous" lithophyte at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters in cracks and crevasses with cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, elliptic, fleshy leaves with incurved margins that blooms on an erect, terminal, 2 1/4" [6 cm] long, laxly few flowered inflorescence occuring in the late spring and early summer in cultivation in the northern hemisphere.
