Found in Espiritu Santo state of Brazil at elevations around 800 meters as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with basally thickened, elongate, tapering towwards the tip pseudobubls carrying 2 apical leaves and blooms in the summer in the northern hemisphere and spring in Brazil on a to [65 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence that is much longer than the leaf and arising through a 6" [15 cm] long sheath and carrying the flowers in a crowded fashion towards the apex.
