Found in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in cloud forests at elevations of 1300 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a basal rosette of ciliate margined, soft, fleshy leaves that blooms in the winter through summer on a somewhat arching, racemose, densely villose, 1" [2.5 cm] long, loosely 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence
