Found in the Ryukyus as a small sized, cool to cold growing Mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with an elongate, simple to occasionally branched, erect, thin, dark brown stem with a few remotely few squamate, deltoid bracts that blooms on a to 12" [30 cm] long, peduncle and a rachis that is 1" [2.5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
