Common Name The Lecanorchis - In China Hui Lu Yu Lan
Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]
Found in central Taiwan in broad leaved forests at elevations of 1400 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with an ascending rhizome giving rise to an erect, reddish brown, black spotted, unbranched stem with several dark brown sheaths that blooms in the later spring on an erect, terminal, 1.2" to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence with persistent, ovate floral bracts.
