Common Name or Meaning The Gilled Lepanthes [refers to the appearance of the hairs on the lower lobes of the petals]

Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations around 1950 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 6, long-ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, spreading to pendent, coriaceous, broadly elliptical, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a filiform, weak, lightly flexuous, 2" [5 cm] long including the .4 to 1" [1 to 2.5 cm] long peduncle, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
