Found in Dominican Republic in remnant primary broadleaved forests at elevations around 1400 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect to ascending ramicauls enveloped by up tp 10, articulate, ribbed and microscopically echinate to Microscopically puberulent lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic to ovate, acute, margins sparsely ciliate, acute below into the rounded petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a 1 to 4, erect, shorter than the leaf, .24" [6 mm] long, arising on the front of the leaf, successively single to 15 flowered inflorescence.
