Found in Huanuco department of Peru without locational data as a mini-miniature sized, caespitose epiphyte with slender erect ramicauls enveloped by 5 to 9, cellular-ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-ovate, acute, cuneate and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later summer on an erect, arising on the back of the leaf, congested, distichous, peduncle .32 to .4" [8 to 10 mm] long, rachis .2 to .28" [5 to 7 mm] long, successively single, many flowered inflorescence with muricate, oblique, shorter than the pedicel flora lbracts and carrying flowers with yellow sepals suffused with brown medially, petals with the margin brown and a tan lip suffused with purple medially.
