Found in La Paz department of Bolivia at elevations around 3380 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with prolific, slender ramicauls enveloped by 3 to 4, long ciliate , lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, broadly elliptical, obtuse, apiculate, rounded and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a slender, loose, distichous, flexuous, 1.6" [4 cm] long including the .4" [1 cm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence
