Common Name The Horrible Lepanthes

Flower Size 1" long [2.5 cm] 1/2" wide [1.25 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and Panama in secondary forests at elevations of 1500 to 2500 meters as a cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect slender ramicauls with densely muriculate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying oblong, acute, tridenticulate apically, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the laterr spring on a fractiflex, pendent, longer than the leaf, successively many flowered inflorescence.
