Found in Aragua Venezuela in dwarf cloud forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped completely by 3 to 5, inflated minutely ciliate apically, acute lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, suborbicular to ovoid, obtuse, abruptly narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a 2" [5 cm] long, flexuous, successively several flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts.

CAUTION!!!!!!!! I feel that the photo determination above is definitely incorrect so please use with caution. It does not conform at all to Foldats drawings from Venezuela CAUTION!!!! The drawing offered above does conform to Foldats original drawing so it is correct.
