The first photo is an exact match to Luers original descriptions of L mastodon [and photo in Native Colombian Orchids Vol 2 COS] and subsequent redescription of L manabina in Icones Pleurothalidinarum XIV.

The second photo is not close to Dodson's description of L manabina nor Luer's L mastodon or subsequent L manabina description in Icones Pleurothalidinarum XIV.
