Found in Cundinamarca Colombia and Carchi Ecuador at elevations around 3300 to 3600 meters as a probable miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a slender, erect? ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect?, coriaceous, elliptical, acute to lightly acuminate, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a filiform, dense, distichous, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, successively many flowered inflorescence arising on the back of the leaf.
