Found in Narino Colombia at elevations around 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 10 to 15, glabrous lepanthiform sheaths with microscopically ciliate, dilated ostia and carrying a single, apical, spreading, coricaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and summer on a filiform, congested, secund, 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] long including the .2 to .8" [5 to 20 mm] long peduncle, successively several flowered inflorescence arising on the top of the leaf with smooth floral bracts.
