Found in the Philippines at elevations of 700 to 2300 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte withpear-shaped, close set pseudobulbs carrying narrowly lanceolate, rounded apically, deciduous, jointed to an elongate persistent base leaves that blooms on an erect, longer than the leaves, 5.2 to 6.4" [13 to 16 cm] long overall, bractless, flattened on opposite sides, strongly winged, rachis to .8 to 2.4" [2 to 6 cm] long overall, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with 2 ranked, sharply projected floral bracts.
