Found in Hawaii at elevations of 700 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a semi-globose psedobulb carrying 2, apical, delicate, ovate leaves that blooms in the later spring through mid fall on a terminal, erect, 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence
