Found in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia along small forest streams hanging from branches of trees as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, erect, pale green, elliptic, acute, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a very slender, narrowly winged, longer than the leaves, to 2.8" [7 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary floral bracts..
Similar to L decurrens but differs in the long wings on each side of the stigma that resemble a swallow in flight.
