Found in west Sumatra at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with ellipsoid, somewhat terete pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 4, articulate, elliptic, shortly acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms on a terminal, longer than the leaves, 4" [10 cm] long, 9 to 25 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
