Found in western Java in humus on the forest floor at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with elongate pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 4, elliptic, acute, Malaxis-like leaves held well off the ground and well separated that blooms in the late spring through fall on a terminal, erect, angular, slightly winged, to 10 flowered inflorescence.
