Common Name The Beaked Liparis - In China Chi Tu Yang Er Suan
Flower Size .8" [2 cm]
Found in Pakistan, the western Himalayas, the Chinese Himalayas, Bhutan and Nepal in forest along valleys on soil covered rocks at elevations of 1500 to 2700 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with tufted pseudobulbs carrying 2, opposite, elliptic to ovate, veined, narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the early summer on a 6 to 8" [15 to 20 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence
