Found in Western Java and Borneo on mossy forests floors, limestone cliffs in lower and hill forests at elevations of sealevel to 1500 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with fleshy, creeping stems carrying 2 rowed, small, ovate, acute, violet centered with broad green margin leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, terminal, 7.2" [18cm] long, 10 to 20 flowered inflorescence
