Found in western Java and Sumatra in damp forests at elevations of 1200 to 2000 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying obliquely ovate to acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, to 120" [25 cm] long, nodding apically, many flowered inflorescence carrying pale yellowish green becoming pale yellow flowers
