Flower Size .4" to .48" [1 to 1.2 cm]

Found in southwestern India at elevations of 2000 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying 2 to 3, elliptic-ovate, acute-acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal, erect, 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm] long, rather densely, many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, margins deflexed floral bracts and carrying yellow flowers.
