Found in southwestern India at elevations of 2000 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrstrial with an erect, stem carrying 2 to 3, elliptic-ovate, acute-acuminate, petiollate base leaves that blooms in the later summer on a terminal, erect, 2 to 4" [5 t o10 cm] long, rather densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, margins deflexed floral bracts and carrying yellow flowers.
