Common Name Junghuhn's Malaxis

Flower Size

Found in western Java on the ground or on tree trunks at elevations of 1000 to 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial or occasional epiphyte with close set stems carrying 2 to 4, flushed purple below becoming green with age, finely undulate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, terminal, many flowered inflorescence.
