Common Name The Single Flowered Maxillaria
Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]
Found in Espirito Santo State of Brazil with ovoid, rugose with age pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several imbricating sheaths and carring a single apical, linear-lanceolate, acute leaf that is conduplicate basally below and blooms in the fall on a basal, 3" [7.5 cm] long, single, flowered inflorescence with several loose, acute bracts.
