Common Name Langlasse's Maxillaria [Belgian Orchid Collector 1800's]

Found in Cauca Colombia on the western slopes of the Andes at elevations around 1800 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with clustered, elongate pseudobulbs carrying a single, erect, thinly coriaceous, oblong-ligulate, obtuse, narrowing below into the canaliculate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, 9.6" [24 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
