Common Name Lasalle's Maxillaria

Found in Colombia, Venezuela and Guyana at elevations of 750 to 1050 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing epipjhyte with an elongate rhizome without pseudobulbs giving rise t odistichous, linear-lanceolate, unequally acuminate, finely scabrous, basally clasping leaves that blooms on axillary, single flowered inflorescence with acuminate, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying white flowers with a violet lip.
