Found in Pasco Peru in wet monatane forests at elevations around 1550 meters as a medium sized, cool growing, pendent epiphyte with a long rhizome giving rise to fan-shaped growths at intervals, with semiterete, linear, acute, coriaceous, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer on subsessile, single flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, slightly more than half the length of the ovary floral bracts and carrying campanulate, small flowers.
