Common Name The Two-Leafed Mediocalcar

Found in New Guinea, The Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu as a creeping, ascending, miniature sized warm to cold growing epiphyte or lithophyte forming mats from montane, rain and subalpine forests and shrublands or on mossy rocks or roadcuts at altitudes up to 1800 meters with obliquely ovoid, green pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, oblanceolate, obtuse or acute leaves and blooms at any time of the year on a 1/3" [1 cm] long, single flowered, axillary inflorescence arising from the apice of a newly developing psuedobulb that has a solitary, bell shaped, long-lasting flower which can occur at most any time of the year.
