Common Name Perrier's Microcoelia [French Orchid Botanist in Madagascar 1900's]

Found in west and northwest Madagascar in woodlands and bush from sealevel to 500 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte or occasional lithophyte with a few to many simple to branched, flattened to rounded roots that blooms fall through spring on up to 40, simultaneous, adpressed to the stem, terete, smooth, to 3.6" [9 cm] long, to 26 flowered inflorescence with sheathing, ovate, acute to subacute, single nerved bracts .
